TUFF E-Series targets businesses that manage both regulated and nonregulated liquids.
USA – Elkhart Plastics, a leading custom rotational moulding company based in the United States, has unveiled the latest addition to its TUFF product line: the TUFF E-Series.
Designed to deliver enhanced safety, durability, and environmental performance, this new range of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) is engineered to meet the evolving needs of industries handling liquid materials.
Manufactured at the company’s Indiana facility, the TUFF E-Series targets businesses that manage both regulated and nonregulated liquids across sectors such as chemical manufacturing, water treatment, and waste management.
The containers offer a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to single-use IBCs, helping to significantly reduce packaging waste and ongoing procurement expenses.
Central to the E-Series’ appeal is its rugged, rotomoulded base, which is designed to withstand the rigours of industrial use.
This impact-resistant structure not only extends the lifespan of the container but also minimizes the likelihood of damage during handling and transportation.
One of its key efficiency features is its ability to achieve 99.9% drainage, thereby reducing product loss and minimizing residual waste.
A standout innovation in the E-Series is the TUFF LinQ Outlet Valve Connection, which Elkhart Plastics claims is 30% stronger than comparable market offerings.
This advanced connection system includes an integrated male cam-lock fitting and dust cap, which work together to prevent leaks and protect product integrity, all while minimizing operational downtime.
Cullen Jones, Vice-President of Sales at Elkhart’s parent company, Myers Industries, described the E-Series as a transformative solution.
“The new E-Series builds on the proven strengths of our TUFF line and gives customers a smarter way to protect, handle, and store liquid materials,” said Jones.
“It also reflects our commitment to innovation and quality. Reusable, environmentally responsible, and economically viable, the E-Series cuts waste, lowers costs, and delivers long-term value – setting a new standard for IBC performance in liquid handling.”
With its focus on reusability and enhanced safety features, the TUFF E-Series positions itself as a forward-thinking solution for businesses looking to improve operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
The launch underscores Elkhart Plastics’ continued investment in sustainable innovation and its commitment to helping customers optimize their liquid handling processes.
