USA – Golden Grail Beverages has begun a new production run for KOZ Water, now in 16oz aluminum cans, underscoring a shift towards more sustainable packaging solutions.
This initial run, part of a larger plan to produce 155,000 cans, is the largest in the company’s history.
It marks a significant production milestone and reinforces Golden Grail Beverages’ commitment to environmental responsibility.
The transition to 16oz cans and a new co-packer has led to substantial cost savings and improved production efficiency, all while maintaining the company’s sustainability commitments.
KOZ Water’s 100% recyclable aluminum cans aim to reduce plastic pollution. Aluminum, a highly recyclable material, surpasses plastic bottles in global recycling rates.
While plastic bottles have a recycling rate below 50%, aluminum’s rate exceeds 60% globally and reaches up to 90% in some regions.
This initiative aligns with Golden Grail Beverages’ mission to reduce plastic waste and promote eco-friendly practices, potentially expanding its market reach.
The larger 16oz cans cater to consumers with active lifestyles, providing a convenient and substantial hydration option.
A spokesperson for Golden Grail Beverages stated, “We are thrilled to launch production of the new 16oz cans for KOZ Water. This initiative reflects our dedication to sustainability and customer satisfaction.
“We believe this larger size will satisfy our existing customers and attract new consumers looking for a more substantial, eco-friendly hydration option.”
Last year, the company partnered with the High-Speed Manufacturing Center to expand the production capacity of its energy drinks and canned water beverages.
This collaboration aims to enhance profitability and improve the manufacturing process of its products.
The new co-packer facility, which spans 128,000 square feet, features a faster manufacturing line and projects a 40% reduction in manufacturing costs.
This cost-saving measure aligns with the company’s commitment to fiscally responsible investing, contributing to the growth and sustainability of its beverage portfolio, which includes brands such as Sway Energy Drink, Spider Energy Drink, Trevi Fruit Essence Water, Tickle Water, Sketch Can for Tweens, Cause Water, and KOZ Water.
