The awards celebrates packaging solutions that embody responsible sourcing and recyclability.

INDONESIA – LamiPak Indonesia has received two major accolades at the PackindoStar Awards 2025, underscoring its leadership in sustainable packaging innovation.
The company was recognized with the PEFC Forest-Positive Packaging Award and the Sustainability Package Award for its eco-friendly aseptic packaging product, LamiPure.
The awards were presented during the International Packaging Conference held in Sleman, Yogyakarta, on September 24.
Organized by the Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF) in collaboration with PEFC, this year’s conference carried the theme “Best Approach for Sustainable Business” and focused on accelerating the circular economy through stronger collaboration among stakeholders in the packaging industry.
The PEFC Forest-Positive Packaging Award, presented for the first time in Indonesia, celebrates packaging solutions that embody responsible sourcing and recyclability.
LamiPak’s facility in Cikande, Serang, Banten, operates under PEFC Chain of Custody certification, ensuring that raw materials are derived from sustainably managed forests in compliance with Indonesian Forestry Certification Cooperation (IFCC) and PEFC standards.
“At PEFC, we are committed to promoting sustainable practices throughout the forestry supply chain. Our sponsorship of this award recognizes Indonesian companies leading the way in sustainable packaging,” said Wikkie Netten, Market Engagement Manager, PEFC Asia-Pacific.
“By choosing PEFC-certified materials, businesses ensure their packaging solutions positively impact the world’s forests.”
The Sustainability Package Award was evaluated against five key criteria: social impact, renewable material use, source reduction, energy efficiency, and recovery.
LamiPak’s LamiPure stood out for meeting all benchmarks. Designed without the traditional aluminum layer and replaced with a Bio-PE layer, LamiPure enhances recyclability and reduces carbon emissions.
“LamiPure represents the next generation of aseptic packaging,” said Ahmad Rizalmi, PR Manager of LamiPak Indonesia.
“Produced under PEFC Chain of Custody certification and supported by our One Pack One Code traceability system, each package can be tracked transparently across the value chain.
“This demonstrates our strong commitment to creating positive impacts for society, the environment, and the packaging industry.”
The recognition highlights LamiPak’s growing influence as a forward-looking industry player.
With global packaging trends shifting toward sustainability and circular design, LamiPak’s innovations reinforce Indonesia’s role in shaping environmentally responsible solutions for the regional and international markets.
