Lindenmeyr Munroe opens a new distributor facility in Michigan 

USA – Lindenmeyr Munroe, a leading North American provider of paper, packaging, and facility solutions, has launched a new distribution center in Detroit, Michigan. 

The facility, operational since August 11, 2025, strengthens the company’s footprint in Southeast Michigan, catering to the region’s growing demand for eco-friendly packaging options.

According to company leadership, the Detroit hub is designed to enhance service efficiency through a fully stocked warehouse and a dedicated team of sales and customer service professionals. 

“Our strong partnerships with world-class suppliers allow us to provide a complete product offering across every category, paper, packaging, wide format, and facility solutions,” said Lindenmeyr Munroe President Bill Meany in a statement. 

“We are thrilled to extend that offering to Detroit and the surrounding area.”

The new center integrates with Lindenmeyr Munroe’s nightly shuttle system, ensuring next-day delivery across Michigan and the Midwest. 

This logistical advantage supports businesses seeking sustainable packaging solutions with minimal lead times, aligning with industry trends toward efficiency and environmental responsibility. 

The company’s state-of-the-art e-commerce platform further enhances customer experience by streamlining online orders and improving operational efficiency.

The Detroit facility marks Lindenmeyr Munroe’s third new location since late 2024, following openings in Atlanta, Georgia, and Tampa, Florida. 

The company now operates 30 warehouses and nine retail locations across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest, Texas, and Oklahoma, solidifying its position as a key player in sustainable packaging distribution.

In a related development, a recent industry report highlights Lindenmeyr Munroe’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, noting that the company has introduced biodegradable packaging options at its Tampa facility, which began operations in April 2025.

 These products, sourced from certified eco-friendly suppliers, are expected to be rolled out in Detroit, further aligning with the company’s mission to reduce environmental impact.
