US – US-based manufacturer of protective packaging, Pregis has expanded its Inspyre product line with the new Inspyre Mailer to help fight water insecurities in communities around the world.

Inspyre packaging is a brand member of 1% for the Planet, with one percent of the product line’s sales funding Uzima, a charity that makes and distributes water filters that provide clean drinking water to people in need.

The Inspyre mailer is said to provide an effective, lightweight, and eco-friendly method for shipping non-fragile goods and soft goods like clothing and linens in direct-to-consumer e-commerce applications.

Made with a minimum of 30 percent recycled content, the new Inspyre poly mailer offers customers a unique packaging solution that contributes to sustainability goals and positive change.

The mailer, which is available in fanfold and roll stock, runs through Pregis Sharp automated bagging systems to maximize efficiency and reduce labor costs.

Customers have the option of choosing custom designs for the Inspyre mailer to better link their businesses to the program, said Pregis.

All Inspyre mailers have a stock footer with messaging to consumers communicating the value of this cause marketing initiative with a 1% for the Planet logo, How2Recycle® label, consumer-friendly recyclability instructions, and a QR code to learn more about the corporate social responsibility program.

Since launching the Inspyre brand in 2018, Pregis has helped bring clean water to more than 170,000 people in communities around the world through its donations to Uzima.

By packaging with Inspyre Mailers, brands will help fund a vital charity while enhancing the customer experience and building brand loyalty.

As an added value, Pregis provides customers a marketing collateral toolkit to help promote their participation and commitment to social and environmental change.

The mailer is the latest addition to the Inspyre portfolio, which includes HC Inspyre, a performance inflatable cushioning solution, and Inspyre Paper, a decorative void fill solution.
