Reproflex3 appoints Aditya Pangikal as India business head

Pangikal will lead expansion across Indian and Southeast Asian markets.

INDIA – Reproflex3 has appointed Aditya Pangikal as business head of R3 India, strengthening its leadership team as the company scales its support for the packaging industry across India and Southeast Asia.

Pangikal brings more than three decades of experience in pre-press and print, having held senior leadership roles with multinational organizations serving global brands such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Unilever, Mondelēz, and Ferrero Rocher.

His background spans operations, technology deployment, and brand development. He previously served as operations director, where he established and managed a large offshore production centre employing over 700 people, and later as managing director of a brand development agency in Mauritius.

Commenting on his appointment, Pangikal said, “This is an exciting opportunity to bring together people, processes, and technology in a very dynamic and competitive market.

“Reproflex3 is bringing something genuinely new to the Indian flexo sector, and I want to build on that momentum.”

In his new role, Pangikal will be responsible for expanding Reproflex3’s pre-press and flexo platemaking services across key packaging segments, including labels, flexible packaging, and corrugated.

His mandate includes developing strong local capabilities while supporting workflow optimization and technology transfer across India and the wider Southeast Asian region.

Andrew Hewitson, CEO of Reproflex3, said the appointment comes at a pivotal time for the Indian market.

“The Indian flexographic printing market is evolving fast, with investment in CI flexo presses growing year-on-year, just as we expected,” he noted.

“Having the right mix of western and Indian culture inside R3 India is critical for the successful transfer of our advanced prepress technologies.”

Reproflex3 has been expanding its global footprint to align more closely with converters and brand owners investing in high-quality, efficient flexographic printing.

India, in particular, has emerged as a key growth market as packaging demand rises across FMCG, food, personal care, and pharmaceutical sectors, driving increased adoption of modern flexo technologies and higher standards in pre-press.

R3 India operates as a sister organization to R3 Middle East and Africa within the Reproflex3 Group, enabling collaboration across regions and the sharing of expertise, systems, and best practices.

The group said Pangikal’s appointment is expected to accelerate its regional growth strategy and strengthen its position as a technology-driven pre-press partner for packaging converters in India and Southeast Asia.
