Synergia Pac expands capabilities with HP Indigo 6K installation

INDIA – Synergia Pac has enhanced its digital printing capabilities with the installation of an HP Indigo 6K digital press at its Gurugram facility.

This investment marks a major step towards the company’s goal of becoming one of India’s leading innovation labs for digital-first printing solutions, pushing advancements in printing technology.

Saqib Jamshed, founder of Synergia Pac, noted that the company was excited to partner with HP to transform the printing and packaging sector.

He explained that Synergia Pac aimed to establish a unique innovation lab in India, where groundbreaking innovations could be brought to market.

He said HP Indigo technology was a perfect match for their objectives due to its versatility.

Synergia Pac plans to leverage the HP Indigo 6K to explore new areas such as hybrid and security printing and other roll-format applications.

Deepak Nargis, the company’s director, stated that the new equipment would help them address various business challenges, enabling them to serve customers with a one-stop solution.

He also emphasized their commitment to developing proof of concepts and continuously pushing the boundaries of the industry, allowing them to replace existing products with more innovative alternatives.

The HP Indigo 6K installation aligns with Synergia Pac’s sustainability goals, as it will help reduce production waste caused by overproduction, setup, and changeovers.

Co-founder Raman Anandchahl remarked that brands increasingly demanded shorter turnaround times and innovative solutions supporting sustainability.

He believed that with the HP Indigo 6K, Synergia Pac was well-positioned to meet these demands and set new industry standards.

Amit Khurana, CEO of TechNova Imaging Systems, pointed out that Synergia Pac’s HP Indigo 6K installation demonstrated its leadership and commitment to transforming the printing and packaging industry.

He added that TechNova aimed to empower customers with cutting-edge technology that fostered innovation and growth. He also strongly supported Synergia Pac’s vision of driving digital transformation with sustainable solutions.

Appadurai A, country manager for HP’s graphic solutions industrial business, expressed optimism about the collaboration.

He explained that the rise of start-ups in sectors such as food, beverage, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics had led to an increase in demand for short-run quantities and various SKUs.

These start-ups were seeking printing partners capable of offering a comprehensive range of applications—labels, flexible pouches, and folding cartons—all under one roof.

Appadurai highlighted that investing in HP Indigo technology enabled print service providers to meet these diverse needs with a single, versatile solution, making it an ideal choice for companies looking to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

HP Financial Services facilitated the acquisition of the HP Indigo 6K by providing an operating lease option. This allowed Synergia Pac to benefit from the new technology more quickly and enhance its operations.
