Designed for a 13mm threaded screw neck developed by Groupe Pochet, the pump allows the dispenser to be detached and reattached through multiple refill cycles.

MONACO – Silgan Dispensing introduced its Melodie Pirouette SNI 13 pump at Luxe Pack Monaco in September 2026, a dispenser engineered to extend luxury fragrance packaging across refillable moulded glass formats with threaded necks.
The pump is built for a 13mm threaded screw neck, a finish developed by Groupe Pochet that allows the dispenser to be removed and reattached across multiple refill cycles.
Silgan said the Melodie Pirouette has been designed and constructed to withstand frequent and repeated refills over time, addressing a durability requirement that standard crimped pumps cannot meet because they are permanently affixed to the bottle.
Replay Connector Expands Portable Refill Portfolio
Combining Silgan’s Replay Connector refill system with the threaded, removable Melodie Pirouette SNI 13 pump allows the company to extend its portable fragrance refill range beyond glass vials.
The configuration supports on-the-go refilling, giving perfume houses a route to offer refillable formats across a wider spread of bottle designs rather than limiting them to vial-based presentations.
Partnership Combines Dispensing and Glass Expertise
The development drew on cooperation between Silgan and Groupe Pochet. Groupe Pochet produced the first moulded glass bottle featuring an SNI 13 screw neck, which allowed Silgan to customise its Melodie Pirouette pump for that specific finish.
A French patent application has been filed covering the innovation, signalling that both partners regard the threaded-neck configuration as a proprietary advance rather than an incremental adjustment.
Spray Range Suited to Premium Fragrance Applications
The Melodie Pirouette pump offers a range of spray experiences drawn from Silgan’s Emotions of Spray collection, giving brands options across dispersion patterns and sensory profiles.
For perfume houses, refillable moulded glass formats address both regulatory pressure on single-use packaging and consumer interest in premium, reusable presentations.
Threaded removable pumps also simplify the refilling process for consumers, since the dispenser can be detached without tools or specialist equipment.
The launch follows other recent activity in premium dispensing, including Aptar Beauty’s all-plastic cosmetic pump designed to withstand e-commerce deliveries, and Unilever’s deliberately extravagant Axe Holder, which plays on perceptions of luxury fragrance packaging versus body spray cans.
