USA – Berry Global has introduced its new Chameleon bottle, offering fast customization options with low minimum order quantities (MOQs) across personal care, home care, and healthcare markets.
The Chameleon bottle, developed by Berry Agile Solutions, features a base section with a unique texture finish. It is available in ten standard versions and additional bespoke options for customers seeking personalized packaging.
Berry Global has implemented a quick-change tooling process, enabling the creation of custom designs efficiently.
The bottle’s neck can also be adapted to accommodate different closures, sprays, or pumps, enhancing its versatility.
Customers can match their packaging to brand colours, and the wide decoration area allows easy printing or labelling.
Joe Horton, Sales and Marketing Director at Berry Agile Solutions, highlights the bottle’s adaptability, “The Chameleon can literally change colour and finish, offering customers a blank canvas to create bespoke packaging. The textured finish aligns with current trends in personal care packaging.”
He adds, “With our cost-effective tooling and low MOQs—starting at just 10,000 units—customers can quickly develop unique packaging solutions that stand out on store shelves.”
The Chameleon bottle is made from PE or PP, both of which are widely recyclable in regions with appropriate collection schemes.
Additionally, the bottle can be produced using up to 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, supporting sustainable practices.
Customers can choose from two standard textures, Bubbles and Waves, which can be embossed or debossed, and select between two neck finishes: 24/415 and 23 mm snap necks.
Berry Global offers various services to support the design process, including bottle design mock-ups, 3D printing, and in-house artwork creation.
The company also provides silk screen printing as part of its one-stop manufacturing and decoration solution.
Typical lead times for standard bottles and closures are four to six weeks, while customized solutions take approximately eight to 12 weeks.
In July, Berry Global partnered with French natural cosmetics company La Rosée to launch an exclusive, refillable deodorant stick.
The product, developed after two years of research and development, allows consumers to reuse the deodorant stick by inserting a specially designed mono-material polypropylene (PP) refill, which reduces weight by 62% compared to a full stick.
This innovation ensures hygienic application and minimizes product contact during refill, allowing consumers to refill the deodorant in under a minute.
Berry Global continues to innovate in sustainable packaging solutions, offering brands cost-effective, customizable, and eco-friendly options that cater to evolving market demands.
