JORDAN – Creative Printing Press has taken a significant step into the premium label segment with the signing of a contract for GM’s DC350Flex+ finishing line at Labelexpo.

The advanced system, equipped with digital varnish and foil capabilities, will allow the Jordan-based printer to expand into high-end embellishment labels for beauty, personal care, and luxury products.

The deal was facilitated by Sixth Dimension, GM’s regional distributor, under the leadership of CEO Maher Dakkouri, who hailed the move as a milestone for the region’s label industry.

“We are proud to bring the DC350Flex+ to Creative Press, marking a new chapter in embellishment and luxury label production for the Middle East. This agreement is more than just a sale, it’s the beginning of a transformative journey,” Dakkouri said.

The signing was attended by Mohammad Farhan, partner at Creative Printing Press, and Saif Farha, digital department manager, alongside representatives from Sixth Dimension, including Mohammad Abseh, sales manager, and Ibrahim Alsmady, service manager. Uffe Nielsen, CEO of GM, was also present, reflecting the importance of the partnership.

For Jordan, the investment is more than a company milestone, it signals the country’s growing role in the regional printing and packaging sector.

Traditionally, Jordan’s print industry has served local FMCG and publishing needs, but the addition of advanced finishing capabilities positions the nation as a player in luxury and specialty packaging.

This move is expected to encourage further technology adoption by other Jordanian printers, creating a ripple effect of modernization across the sector.

The implications stretch beyond Jordan. Neighboring markets in the Levant and Gulf, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Iraq, rely on regional printing hubs for high-quality labels and packaging.

Creative Printing Press’s new capabilities could reduce reliance on imports from Europe and Asia, offering faster turnaround times and cost efficiencies for regional brands.

With luxury and personal care products experiencing strong growth across the Middle East, the press is well-placed to serve both domestic and export markets.

Industry observers say the deal reflects a wider regional trend: label converters are moving toward digital embellishment technologies to meet brand owners’ demands for shorter runs, personalization, and premium finishes, all while improving sustainability by reducing waste.
