Drinktec 2025: KHS to unveil smart, sustainable packaging and processing innovations

The company will present new iterations of its Innoline Basic Line Monitoring, Innoline Flex Control, and KHS ConnectApp Guide software.

GERMANY – KHS Group is set to showcase its pioneering portfolio of technologies and services designed to meet the evolving demands of the global beverage industry at Drinktec 2025, from September 15-19, 2025.

Taking center stage at Hall B4, KHS will highlight holistic line solutions that combine high-efficiency equipment, smart digital services, and environmentally conscious innovations for all container types, PET, glass, and cans.

Describing the company’s approach, KHS Chief Sales Officer Tobias Wetzel stated, “KHS stands for progressive technologies and services that can be combined to create smart turnkey systems tailored to our customers’ individual requirements.

“These solutions deliver substantial value in terms of line efficiency, sustainability, and footprint optimization.”

A key focus for KHS at Drinktec 2025 is its expanding suite of digital services. The company will present new iterations of its Innoline Basic Line Monitoring, Innoline Flex Control, and KHS ConnectApp Guide software, which enhance performance transparency and enable predictive maintenance.

With integrated cloud connectivity and robust cybersecurity architecture, these solutions ensure real-time access to production data while safeguarding operational technology systems.

KHS is also launching a new Line Coaching program, a hands-on training initiative aimed at empowering customers to optimize system performance through data-driven insights and on-the-ground practices.

Complementing this is KHS’ innovative spare parts offering, including a 3D printing-based replacement program. One highlight includes the new cold glue station retrofit for KHS labelers, a testament to the brand’s commitment to system longevity and customization.

In the PET segment, KHS will debut the InnoPET FreshSafe QuadBlock, a compact, integrated block system that combines stretch blow molding, barrier coating, filling, and labeling into a single, space-saving unit.

This marks a first for the company and sets a new benchmark for streamlined production.

Another highlight is the ultra-lightweight 0.25-liter PET bottle for still water. Weighing just 6.2 grams and made entirely from recycled PET (rPET), the fully recyclable bottle combines material efficiency with top-tier aesthetics and functionality, underscoring KHS’ commitment to sustainable packaging solutions.

For glass, KHS is unveiling the Innoclean Cascade D, a new bottle washer that features low energy and media consumption, a compact footprint, and enhanced hygiene.

A revamped Innopas SX tunnel pasteurizer will also be on display, designed with process reliability and hygienic design at its core.

On the canning front, KHS, in collaboration with Ferrum Packaging AG and H.F. Meyer Maschinenbau GmbH, will present the SmartCan Eco, a compact, high-performance filler/seamer block.

With an optimized hygiene zone reduced by up to 93%, faster product changeovers, and lower energy usage, the system reflects the power of smart cooperation in machine development.

KHS’ growing list of technology partners continues to enhance its innovation edge. Notably, its recent alliance with Tyrolon GmbH, an Austrian specialist in conveying stars and neck clamps, has enabled new solutions for both PET and glass lines.

Drinktec 2025 marks their first joint showcase of turnkey machinery.

With these innovations and more, KHS’ presence at Drinktec reaffirms its position as a global leader in sustainable, digitalized beverage production.

The exhibition will run from September 15 to 19, 2025, at Messe München, and promises to be a key moment for industry players looking to future-proof their operations.
