Flexcon appoints Nick Tucci as CEO, Wausau Coated promotes Amber Goodin to Customer Solutions Manager

The leadership change comes as Flexcon aims to accelerate its strategic priorities in innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric growth.

USA — Flexcon, a leading manufacturer of pressure-sensitive films and adhesives headquartered in Spencer, Massachusetts, announced the appointment of Nick Tucci as CEO, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the role.

Tucci previously held senior leadership positions at Avery Dennison, where he led several major business units, and most recently served as chief financial officer and advisory board member at 44 Maple Group, Flexcon’s parent company.

“I’m honored to join Flexcon at such a pivotal moment in its journey,” said Tucci. “Flexcon has a rich legacy of innovation and customer partnership, and I’m excited to work alongside this talented team to build on that foundation and sustain future growth.”

The leadership change comes as Flexcon aims to accelerate its strategic priorities in innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric growth amid an increasingly competitive global market.

Mike Foley, CEO of 44 Maple Group, said, “Nick’s leadership style and deep industry expertise make him the ideal person to guide Flexcon into its next chapter.

“I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Nick and seen first-hand his ability to build and inspire teams, drive innovation, and deliver results.”

As part of the transition, Aimee Peacock (CEO), Nick Lupoli (COO), and Matt Gardner (CFO) have departed the company.

Wausau Coated promotes Amber Goodin

In a separate leadership announcement, Wausau Coated Products (WCP), a Wisconsin-based family-owned manufacturer of adhesive label products, has promoted Amber Goodin to Customer Solutions Manager.

Goodin joined WCP in June 2024 as a Customer Solutions Specialist and quickly gained recognition for her strong teamwork and dedication to customer satisfaction.

“We are thrilled to promote Amber to her new role of leading our Customer Solutions team,” said Adam Frey, Vice President of Sales.

“Her ability to learn quickly and her focus on both teammates and customers will serve her well in this leadership position.”

Goodin said she looks forward to enhancing customer engagement, improving workflows, and fostering a collaborative, customer-first culture.

“I enjoy being a detective for ‘what if’ projects and collaborating with the Wausau Coated team,” she said.

Her promotion underscores Wausau Coated’s focus on developing internal talent and strengthening customer experience strategies as part of its growth vision in the competitive label and coating industry.
