GIC unveils advanced RFID label machines for enhanced efficiency

FRANCE – GIC, a French pioneer in printing and finishing technology, has introduced the Taginnov range, an innovative series of RFID label production machines aimed at enhancing productivity and operational efficiency.

The Taginnov Converting Line stands out for its ability to produce custom RFID labels by integrating tags into a variety of substrates.

This machine also supports the development of complex products, such as booklets and multilayer labels, offering exceptional versatility for diverse applications.

To ensure the quality and security of RFID tags, GIC has developed the Tag Inspect 250, a multifunctional platform that performs tasks ranging from dimensional verification to the destruction of defective tags.

This ensures the integrity of the production process while maintaining high standards.

For businesses prioritizing speed and precision, the Taginnov Speed Etiq SE/250 offers an optimized solution.

Its modular and ergonomic design allows for the rapid insertion of RFID labels while adapting to different production environments, making it an indispensable tool for high-volume operations.

Xsys accelerates transition to sustainable Nyloflex Eco Plates

Xsys has taken a significant step toward sustainability by expanding its nyloflex eco series, converting traditional flexo printing plates into eco-friendly alternatives.

Two new analog plates, nyloflex ACT and nyloflex FAC, have been introduced as part of this initiative.

These plates, designed for paper and board applications, are compatible with water-based inks and contain 19–29% renewable raw materials, reducing their environmental impact.

The new plates not only minimize energy and solvent consumption but also cut processing times by up to 20%.

Their seamless integration into existing workflows eliminates the need for press trials, preventing unnecessary waste and ensuring a smooth transition to sustainable printing.

“With the nyloflex eco series, we’re advancing sustainability without sacrificing print quality,” said Florian Hoelzle, Product Manager at Xsys.

“Our innovations help customers lower environmental impacts while achieving brilliant results.”

Xsys plans to expand the eco series further, reinforcing its commitment to driving sustainability in the printing industry while maintaining high performance and quality standards.
