ITALY – Fedrigoni Special Papers has unveiled its Wet-Glue Collection, a premium range of papers in sheet format, specifically tailored for wet-glue labeling in the wine, spirits, beverage, and gourmet food industries.

The collection is designed with advanced technology and barrier properties to withstand harsh conditions such as humidity, grease, and temperature fluctuations, all while ensuring exceptional print quality.

This diverse collection includes papers crafted from virgin, alternative, or recycled fibers, offering coated, cast-coated, and uncoated options.

These papers are compatible with offset printing and various embellishment techniques, ranging in grammage from 70 to 100gsm. Additionally, tailored solutions are available upon request, providing flexibility to meet specific needs.

The Wet-Glue Collection is categorized into four distinct families—Performance+, Natural, Classic, and Iconic—each offering unique features to suit diverse branding and application requirements.

The Performance+ range is engineered for extreme conditions, offering resistance to cold, moisture, alkaline substances, and grease.

This makes it ideal for champagne, sparkling wine, spirits, beer, and olive oil labels. Highlights include Ice-proof WS, designed for ice-bucket storage, and Wove Wash-off WS, optimized for returnable bottles.

The Natural category focuses on sustainability, featuring papers made from recycled or alternative fibers.

Examples include Bagassa 60 WS, crafted from sugarcane residues, and Cotone 100 WS, made entirely from cotton linters. These options combine eco-consciousness with a refined aesthetic.

For those seeking timeless elegance, the Classic range offers traditional textures such as wove, rough laid, and felt-marked finishes.

These papers are perfect for wines, craft beers, and gourmet products, emphasizing authenticity and enhancing fine details.

Finally, the Iconic series celebrates luxury and sophistication. Featuring high-gloss Splendorlux, iridescent Perla WS, and bold Wove WS Iconic Black, this range elevates the visual identity of premium products, making them stand out on the shelf.
