AUSTRIA – Mondi has enhanced its NAUTILUS® ProCycle portfolio by introducing expanded grammage options ranging from 100 to 300 g/m² for folio formats and 100 to 120 g/m² in reel formats.
This expansion caters to a wider range of professional printing applications while meeting the highest ecological standards, as certified by Cradle to Cradle Bronze, Blue Angel, FSC, and the EU Ecolabel.
The NAUTILUS ProCycle paper, produced in Austria, features an impressive ISO brightness of 100% and a whiteness level of 135% (as per the International Commission on Illumination).
These attributes make it ideal for high-quality print applications such as letterheads, marketing brochures, corporate reports, advertising materials, invoices, and more.
Its premium quality makes it a top choice for professional corporate identity projects, enabling companies to convey a consistent and environmentally conscious brand image.
Previously available only in A4 and A3 formats at 80 g/m² and in reels at 90 g/m², Mondi has now significantly broadened the product range.
The new portfolio includes grammages from 100 to 300 g/m² in folio formats and 100 to 120 g/m² in reels.
This extension allows businesses to explore diverse applications and better represent their brand across various printed communication media.
Advancing eco-friendly packaging solutions
This portfolio enhancement follows the launch of a new extrusion line at Mondi’s Coating Štětí facility in the Czech Republic.
This new line supports the creation of FunctionalBarrier Papers, designed to provide customizable barrier properties for applications such as food and non-food packaging, solid board case linings, and corrugated material barrier liners.
It is part of a larger investment in advanced production capabilities.
A key component of Mondi’s re/cycle portfolio, FunctionalBarrier Papers are recyclable within Europe’s existing paper waste streams, contributing to a more sustainable, circular economy.
Marko Schuster, Chief Operating Officer of Functional Paper & Films at Mondi, emphasized the investment’s strategic significance: “The start-up of our new extrusion line at Štětí reflects Mondi’s commitment to helping customers on their sustainability journey.
“It supports our MAP2030 goals by designing innovative packaging and paper solutions that keep materials in circulation and reduce waste. We look forward to collaborating closely with our customers to drive a more circular economy.”
This latest development underlines Mondi’s ongoing dedication to sustainability. It ensures that its products align with the demands of eco-conscious businesses while maintaining premium quality and functionality.
