These acquisitions enhance Nefab’s existing regional offering.

NETHERLANDS — The Nefab Group has announced the acquisition of Jase Packaging B.V. and Heuman Verpakkingen B.V., two Netherlands-based companies specializing in wood-based packaging, high-density corrugated solutions, and packing services.
The acquisitions, made through Nefab’s subsidiary Nefab Packaging Netherlands B.V., strengthen the group’s market position in the region and reinforce its global strategy of offering complete, sustainable packaging solutions.
Jase brings expertise in premium wood-based and HD corrugated packaging, while Heuman adds strong capabilities in service-oriented packing solutions.
Together, they enhance Nefab’s existing regional offering, which includes cleanroom services, ISTA-certified testing facilities, and end-to-end packaging solutions.
“This acquisition strengthens Nefab’s position in the regional market and enhances our capacity to deliver premium wood-based solutions and services to customers in key segments like Healthcare and Semicon,” said Per Öhagen, President and CEO of Nefab Group.
“By expanding our market presence and sustainable product portfolio, we are ready to provide even greater value to our customers.”
Owners of Jase and Heuman, Martijn Seerden and Peter Jacobs, expressed optimism about the integration, stating, “We are proud to join the Nefab Group and contribute to their mission and global value proposition.
“Nefab’s ambitious growth strategy and commitment to customer service and resource efficiency align perfectly with our values, and we look forward to growing together.”
Rui Garrido, Executive Vice President of Nefab EMEA, added, “This acquisition allows us to further enhance our ability to deliver innovative solutions that generate both financial and environmental benefits for our customers. We are excited to welcome the Jase and Heuman teams to the Nefab Group.”
The move marks another step in Nefab’s ongoing effort to invest in sustainable and efficient packaging systems that reduce waste and optimize logistics.
Following the acquisition, Nefab Group now employs over 5,000 people across 38 countries, with an annual turnover exceeding SEK 10 billion, further cementing its role as a global leader in sustainable packaging and logistics solutions.
Meanwhile, in September, the company partnered with Nokia to launch a fibre-based solution to protect its 5G radio frequency modules.
The design swaps out conventional polyethylene foam for Nefab’s FiberFlute cushioning, a material made from renewable fibers that delivers equivalent shock absorption while cutting down on non-recyclable components.
This shift keeps the modules safe during global transport and installation, all while shrinking the overall environmental footprint of telecom shipments.
