INDIA – Waster traceability software, Satma CE has entered into a partnership with refillable product solutions provider Refillable to revolutionize inventory and refill management.

The collaboration will enable Refillable to leverage Satma CE’s advanced software to track and trace inventory management, monitor refill processes, and substantiate the reuse of their products, marking a significant step toward sustainability and transparency in their operations.

It further marks a crucial step for Refillable towards achieving its mission to enhance sustainability and transparency in its operations.

Refillable co-founder Lokesh Sambhwani said: “At Refillable, we are dedicated to creating a more sustainable future by reducing waste and promoting reuse.

“Our partnership with Satma CE will play a crucial role in enhancing our operations and quantifying the positive impact we are making on the environment. Together, we will continue to lead the way in sustainable practices.”

By leveraging Satma’s software, Refillable can streamline and automate its inventory tracking system. This will further help in minimizing the risk of stockouts and overstocking across its business.

Refillable will also be able to gather comprehensive insights related to its product life cycle and track refill management.

By quantifying product reuse and real-time data insights, Refillable can strengthen its commitment to minimizing single-use plastic waste, eventually reducing its environmental footprint.

Satma CEO Varun Karasia said: “We are excited to partner with Refillable, a company that shares our passion for sustainability and innovation.

“Our software will empower Refillable to optimize their operations, track inventory more effectively, and provide clear evidence of and quantify their commitment to reducing single-use plastics. Together, we aim to make a significant impact on environmental preservation.”

Meanwhile, in July, Deluxe Recycling, part of the Deluxe Group and Plastic Laminated Beverage Carton waste implemented the software Satma CE.

The software would help Deluxe through the management of inventory, tracking of material received from various waste suppliers in real-time, digitalizing payments, and enabling quality checks for inward waste making the whole collection seamless, while reducing time and process loss.

Satma CE will also allow them to manage multiple orders simultaneously in their production lines, creating operational efficiencies.

As a consequence of using the software in daily operations, Deluxe will now be able to track and report the exact quantity of plastic waste used in the final product along with factors like where the waste came from and carbon saving.

Clients will now get complete traceability of the material recovered and used in the final product; something that has been lacking in the waste management industry.
