SIG secures 13 filling line sales at Gulfood Manufacturing 2024

UAE – SIG, a global leader in packaging solutions, has confirmed the sale of 13 filling lines at Gulfood Manufacturing 2024, held from November 5–7 in Dubai.

This milestone highlights SIG’s commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the food and beverage (F&B) sector.

The sales span SIG’s entire product range, including aseptic cartons, bag-in-box, and spouted pouch technologies.

Abdelghany Eladib, President & General Manager for India, Middle East & Africa at SIG, expressed enthusiasm about the achievement, “Gulfood Manufacturing 2024 has been an exceptional platform to showcase our dedication to innovation and sustainability.

“Securing the sale of 13 filling lines reflects the trust our customers place in our solutions. We remain committed to driving the industry forward with pioneering technologies.”

During the event, SIG highlighted its Customer Experience Hub, a collaborative innovation space designed to help F&B manufacturers and entrepreneurs develop cutting-edge products and optimize go-to-market strategies.

The hub plays a crucial role in identifying industry trends and addressing consumer needs through tailored packaging solutions.

Collaboration with Almarai and product innovations

SIG’s long-standing partnership with Almarai, the Middle East’s leading dairy and food company, was also celebrated with the launch of the campaign “Pioneering Together for 20 Years.”

As part of Almarai’s five-year expansion plan, SIG will serve as a strategic partner, focusing on market leadership and sustainable innovation.

SIG also unveiled the latest addition to its SIG Neo filling machine portfolio: the SIG Neo Slimline 15 Aseptic.

This high-performance machine can fill up to 15,000 SIG Slimline Bloc carton packs per hour, a 33% increase in output compared to standard models, making it ideal for family-sized formats.

Another standout innovation was the introduction of the world’s first long-life probiotic buttermilk in aseptic carton packs, developed in collaboration with MilkyMist and AnaBio Technologies.

This breakthrough allows probiotics to be incorporated into shelf-stable beverages for the first time, setting new standards for health-focused packaging.
