Vaxfab establishes UAE subsidiary Al Rafa for seeds, packaging, plastic raw materials trading

The subsidiary is set to engage directly in cross-border trade, leveraging the UAE’s strategic position as a gateway between Asia, Africa, and Europe.

UAE – Vaxfab Enterprises has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in the UAE’s Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, with the new entity, Al Rafa Enterprise FZ-LLC, licensed to trade in seeds, packaging materials and plastic raw materials while also offering information technology consultancy services.

The subsidiary, registered on 6 August 2026, is structured as a free zone company with an initial capital of AED 1,000 (US$272) per share, with Vaxfab holding 100 percent ownership.

The intimation was filed on 11 August 2026 with the Bombay Stock Exchange and the Calcutta Stock Exchange under SEBI Regulation 30, with the delay attributed to the late receipt of the Certificate of Incorporation from UAE authorities.

Licensed Business Scope and Strategic Implications

Al Rafa Enterprise FZ-LLC’s license permits trading in seeds, packing and packaging materials, plastic and nylon raw materials, as well as general trading and information technology consultancy services.

The subsidiary is positioned to engage directly in cross-border trade, leveraging the UAE’s strategic location as a gateway between Asia, Africa and Europe.

Free zone companies in the UAE benefit from zero per cent customs duty on goods imported into the free zone and no duty on goods stored for re-export.

The diversified mandate allows the subsidiary to source and distribute essential agricultural inputs and industrial materials while leveraging IT expertise to support operational efficiency and value-added services to clients in the region.

Vaxfab’s Entry into UAE Market and Future Operations

The incorporation marks Vaxfab Enterprises’ entry into the UAE market, with the subsidiary’s diversified mandate allowing it to source and distribute essential agricultural inputs and industrial materials.

As a newly incorporated entity, Al Rafa Enterprise FZ-LLC has not yet commenced business operations, and therefore no turnover figures are currently applicable.

The establishment does not involve any related party transactions, nor do promoters or group companies hold any separate interest in the entity beyond Vaxfab’s 100 percent stake.

The subsidiary’s license permits it to exercise all necessary legal actions to realize its business objects.

The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone currently houses over 14,000 multinational companies from more than 100 countries, making it one of the largest economic zones in the region.

The addition of IT consulting services suggests an intent to integrate technology solutions into the company’s supply chain or offer value-added services to clients in the region, potentially enhancing Vaxfab’s revenue diversification and strengthening its position in the global agri-inputs and packaging sectors.
