Aptar Beauty’s Stephan Brandts called the natural marble integration a genuine technical feat, noting custom experts collaborated with BVLGARI on visual consistency and seamless assembly.

FRANCE – Aptar Beauty has supported the commercial debut of BVLGARI’s Le Gemme Tygar travel spray through its Nomad Refill technology, marking the first market launch of the refillable system.
Intended for portable use, the product uses a 10ml refillable glass vial placed inside a case designed with a marble cap and gold-toned metal details.
BVLGARI worked with Aptar Beauty to adapt the Tygar fragrance from the Le Gemme Haute Parfumerie range into a smaller format.
The Le Gemme Tygar Travel Spray is based on Aptar Beauty’s Nomad Refill system, described by the company as the first 10ml purse spray that can be refilled directly from full-size perfume bottles in under five seconds.
Patented Base Connector Enables Bottom Refilling
The inner glass vial can be removed from the bottom of the case and refilled through a patented built-in connector at its base.
The connector is compatible with SNI15 screw-on neck finishes, a widely used standard across fragrance packaging that allows interoperability with existing bottle formats.
This compatibility matters commercially, since refillable systems must integrate with established filling and assembly lines rather than requiring bespoke equipment.
Marble Cap and Metal Detailing Reference Boutique Design
For the exterior, Aptar Beauty developed a custom case based on design references linked to the door of the Via Condotti BVLGARI Boutique in Rome.
The travel spray features a black anodised aluminium body with gold-toned finishing, a black marble cap with white veining and a magnetic closure insert.
A gold aluminium plaque carrying the BVLGARI logotype sits on top.
The companies said the project followed two years of joint development between Aptar Beauty’s custom teams and BVLGARI.
POM-Free Pump Supports Formula Compatibility
The Tygar Travel Spray includes Aptar Beauty’s Classic INUNE fragrance pump.
The pump has an invisible polyoxymethylene-free mechanism and a metal-free pathway intended to support formula compatibility and olfactive neutrality.
Stephan Brandts, senior sales manager for custom beauty EMEA at Aptar Beauty, said integrating natural marble into the design represented a real technical achievement, noting that custom experts worked hand in hand with BVLGARI to ensure visual consistency and seamless assembly.
Johan Duval, development head at BVLGARI, said the quality of the packaging, particularly the marble cap, was remarkable and fully met expectations, adding that the company was proud of the collaboration and project management achieved alongside Aptar Beauty teams.
