CHILE – German packaging solutions company All4Labels Global Packaging Group has announced the acquisition of Chile-based label converter AMF Etiquetas, a part of AMF Group.
The latest transaction represents an important milestone for All4Labels as it broadens its market presence in Latin America by expanding to Chile, recognized as one of the key wine-exporting nations globally.
Guido Iannone, All4Labels’ chief sales officer and president for Central and South Americas says: “By expanding our network to a strategically relevant location for the Wine & Spirit market, we will be able to cater to both existing and future customers with high-quality and industry-tailored products, including self-adhesive labels, wet glue labels, shrink sleeves and in-mould-labels.
“We are convinced that AMF Etiquetas complements our company strategy as they have a pioneer position for innovative, digital and sustainable packaging solutions.
“We are looking forward to the great future that lies ahead and are very pleased to welcome all employees from AMF Etiquetas as new partners and members of the All4Labels family.”
A part of AMF Group, AMF Etiquetas has been working actively in the domestic printing industry since 2009. It currently has a more than 7,200m² production facility in Chile, with over 110 employees at that site.
The company mainly provides its solutions to the food, wine and spirits, and other beverages sectors.
Darío Calderón González, current president of the AMF Group added: “It is with great pride and satisfaction that we announce this transaction.
“The AMF Group was founded in 1945 by Alfredo Molina Flores and is still family-owned and managed by the third generation. Juan Ignacio Molina Crichton, a member of this third generation, will continue to manage the labels division.”
Last month, All4Labels acquired UK-based digital packaging assets supplier Springfield Solutions, a deal the company says will not affect the owners and management team of Springfield Solutions.
With this acquisition, All4Labels Global Packaging Group, which incorporates All4Graphics, aims to expand its global growth strategy.
The transaction also supports All4Labels’ sustainable investments plan to facilitate its long-term growth, professionalization, innovation and cross-regional expansion in the European, as well as global markets.
In November last year, the company agreed on a takeover of Romanian decorative self-adhesive labels manufacturer Romprix Exim for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition would enable All4Labels to strengthen its growing Eastern European footprint, the company said in a press release.
