Berry introduces multi-function recyclable polypropylene sip lid

USA – Berry Global has launched a recyclable, multi-functional sip lid for its Reusable Cup range, furthering its commitment to reducing single-use plastics while maintaining high performance standards.

Part of the B Circular Range—Berry’s lineup of circularity-focused packaging solutions—the new sip lid enhances the functionality of the Reusable Cup portfolio, designed for on-site and takeaway consumption of hot and cold beverages, as well as soups.

Crafted from widely recyclable polypropylene, the lid offers durability and versatility, being suitable for both reuse and reclosure. It features a liquid-tight fit to prevent leaks during transit and is stackable, dishwasher-safe, and compatible with or without a straw.

For improved recycling efficiency, black lids incorporate an NIR-detectable colourant to facilitate sorting where infrastructure permits.

Customers can also choose from a variety of colours and opt for custom logo embossing, which features a matte-versus-shiny contrast for enhanced branding.

Designed to meet the Ø89 standard market dimension, the lid is compatible with all of Berry’s hot and cold cups, blending premium quality with high-impact branding opportunities.
