Beta Glass strengthens its foothold in Africa with enhanced service

NIGERIA – Beta Glass Plc, a leading manufacturer of glass packaging solutions in West and Central Africa, has launched the French language version of its website to better serve the extensive Francophone African market.

This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to delivering superior glass packaging solutions across various sectors.

In a statement, Chief Executive Officer Darren Bennett-Voci emphasized, “This latest update aligns with our mission to provide exceptional service and support to our African markets.

“Beta Glass is deeply committed to inclusivity and customer satisfaction. Our strategic initiatives focus on expanding our footprint in Francophone Africa, providing localized support and tailored solutions.”

The new website offers comprehensive information on Beta Glass’ products, innovative solutions, sustainability initiatives, and commitment to environmentally friendly practices and recycling.

“The launch reflects our company’s dedication to meeting the needs of our clients across Africa and our mission to provide exceptional service and support to our African markets,” Bennett-Voci added.

Beta Glass Plc, a member of the Frigoglass Group, leverages advanced technology and innovative practices to deliver sustainable and quality packaging solutions.

The company is committed to driving progress and setting new standards in the glass container manufacturing industry for the African continent.

Beta Glass launches Nigerian recycling initiative

In a recent development, Beta Glass partnered with Wecyclers, an innovative waste management company, to launch a cullet truck fleet to enhance recycling efforts, promote sustainability, and reinforce environmental responsibility across Nigeria.

The official launch event took place in May at the Beta Glass headquarters in Lagos, marking a significant milestone and a strong commitment by both parties towards a more sustainable future for Nigerians.

The new trucks will be instrumental in collecting and transporting cullet—recycled bottles and jars—from various collection points to Beta Glass’ local production facilities.

By integrating these specialized trucks into the supply chain, both companies aim to increase the volume of recycled glass used in manufacturing, reducing the need for virgin raw materials and minimizing the environmental footprint.

Through these initiatives, Beta Glass continues solidifying its position as a leader in the glass packaging industry while making significant strides toward sustainability and environmental stewardship in Africa.
