Fiery strengthens digital textile portfolio with acquisition of Inedit software

INDIA — Fiery has expanded its digital print software ecosystem with the acquisition of Inedit Software, a specialist in RIP and workflow solutions for textile printing.

The move broadens Fiery’s portfolio across commercial, industrial, wide-format, direct-to-film (DTF), and direct-to-garment (DTG) applications while positioning the company as a one-stop software provider for digital production environments.

The acquisition ensures that print providers will continue to access and rely on Inedit’s full suite of products, including neoStampa, neoTextil, neoCatalog, and neoMatch.

These tools are widely used across the textile sector for color management, RIP processing, design workflows, and production consistency.

According to Fiery, the integration will enable customers to benefit from enhanced color accuracy, faster RIP performance, and deeper device integration, all backed by Fiery’s established strengths in job management and imaging technology.

Fiery also confirmed that the Inedit brand identity and partner ecosystem will be maintained, ensuring continuity for customers while enabling new synergies in software development and global distribution.

Inedit works with a broad network of specialist distributors and maintains OEM partnerships with leading textile machinery manufacturers.

EFI Reggiani will continue its longstanding OEM relationship with Inedit, despite the software company’s shift from EFI to Fiery.

The acquisition follows EFI’s earlier decision to streamline its business and focus on core segments such as industrial printers, production software, and inks.

EFI CEO Frank Pennisi said the transaction supports both companies’ growth strategies, “With this transaction, Fiery will now support our textile business as well, enabling EFI to focus on its core business. Inedit will also be able to take advantage of additional growth opportunities as part of Fiery, LLC.”

Fiery CEO Toby Weiss noted that Inedit’s specialist software has long been admired within the industry.

“With this acquisition, Fiery can expand its industry-leading print software portfolio into a wider range of applications, making Fiery a true one-stop-shop for all digital production print providers,” he said.

The deal comes at a time when demand for digital textile printing is accelerating globally, driven by shorter fashion cycles, mass customization, reduced waste requirements, and increasing adoption of pigment and dye-sublimation technologies.

Software innovation, particularly in color consistency and production workflow automation, has become critical as print service providers scale up to handle more SKUs, variable designs, and complex color profiles.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close before the end of the year, pending customary approvals.
