The partnership ensures manufacturers throughout the region benefit from direct local support.

CHILE — German coding and marking specialist Leibinger has expanded its South American footprint through a new distribution agreement with Antalis, covering Chile and Peru.
The partnership aims to provide manufacturers in the region with enhanced access to Leibinger’s continuous inkjet (CIJ) technology, local technical support, and faster service response times.
Under the agreement, Antalis will represent the full Leibinger CIJ portfolio, ranging from the entry-level Jet One to the high-performance IQJet.
The company’s printers are known for their proprietary automatic nozzle sealing system, which prevents ink from drying during downtime, one of the most common causes of maintenance issues in CIJ technology.
Manufactured predominantly at Leibinger’s headquarters in Tuttlingen, Germany, the systems are designed for reliability, low operational costs, and consistent print quality across demanding industrial environments.
Leibinger has maintained a presence in Chile and Peru for many years, supplying coding and marking solutions to sectors such as food and beverage, packaging, pharmaceuticals, plastics, and construction materials.
The new partnership with Antalis formalizes and strengthens that presence, ensuring continuity for existing customers while expanding support for new manufacturers entering the market.
Antalis contributes an established service network, market expertise, and on-the-ground technical resources across South America.
This combination is expected to shorten lead times, improve service availability, and enable closer customer collaboration, an increasingly important factor as manufacturers across the region accelerate digital transformation and demand more efficient production-line marking.
“South America is an important part of Leibinger’s future,” said Christina Leibinger, CEO of Leibinger.
“With Antalis as our partner in Chile and Peru, we are strengthening what matters most to us: close customer relationships, dependable local support, and the long-term reliability our customers associate with the Leibinger name.”
Alvaro Ide, managing director at Antalis Americas, said the partnership reinforces Antalis’ commitment to delivering high-performance production solutions.
“This agreement allows us to offer customers direct access to Leibinger’s innovative coding and marking technology, supported by our strong local service infrastructure. Together, we can help manufacturers increase uptime, enhance print quality, and improve overall production efficiency.”
The announcement follows broader regional momentum in coding and marking system upgrades, driven by stricter traceability regulations, rising automation, and the growth of export-oriented manufacturing throughout South America.
As producers seek robust, low-maintenance equipment capable of operating in diverse conditions, technology providers like Leibinger continue to invest in deeper local market support.
