The redesign allows the kits to be folded compactly for easy storage.

UK – DS Smith has partnered with children’s play kit brand Fantasy Forts to deliver redesigned, fully recyclable packaging made from corrugated cardboard.
The project involved enhancing folding structures, die-cut features, and accessory integration to improve durability and play value.
“The concept seemed simple, but the technical execution required a lot of thought,” said Fantasy Forts founder Marco van den Berg.
“We needed a partner who could translate our creative vision into a sustainable and scalable product. From day one, our new packaging has been extremely well received by parents.”
The redesign also allows the kits to be folded compactly for easy storage, an important consideration for families.
Remko Berkhout, Marketing and Communications Manager at DS Smith Benelux, praised the engineering behind the new structure, “Our designers ensured the cardboard elements were inventive yet durable, essential for play kits that may be rebuilt in countless ways.”
Pusterla and ghd collaborate on Christmas 2025 special edition

In the beauty sector, Pusterla has teamed up with haircare brand ghd to produce special edition presentation boxes for its Christmas 2025 collection.
The packaging features a crocodile-skin-inspired pattern, created using bronze cold foil with a gloss overprint that gives a subtle metallic shimmer.
Pusterla developed four SKUs and a matching wraparound for a ghd washbag, trialling a variety of papers and finishes to match the collection’s cherry liquor colour palette.
The box construction and Vac Form inserts provide full protection for electrical tools both in transit and on retail display.
“We wanted a nostalgic festive vibe while maintaining ghd’s luxurious look and feel,” said Annie Chang, Senior Packaging Designer at ghd.
She added that Pusterla’s technical capabilities “bridged the gap between creative and production needs.”
Knockout creates new look for Tullamore D.E.W. Café Honey

Irish whiskey brand Tullamore D.E.W. has launched Tullamore D.E.W. Café Honey, supported by a packaging redesign from creative agency Knockout.
The label uses dark amber tones with swirling textures that reference coffee, honey, and whiskey. A tactile honeycomb varnish and a tiny bee circling the brand’s signature Irish wolfhound add character and dimension.
“It was important to complement Tullamore’s authenticity,” said Dom Burke, Executive Creative Director at Knockout.
The new design, added Tom Stannard of Tullamore D.E.W., conveys “a concept that blends café culture and Irish whiskey into one unique liquid.”
