INDIA – RG Pack has installed a Canon imagePRESS V700 digital production press as its second Canon machine, enabling the Hyderabad packaging company to print rigid gift boxes and corrugated containers on textured luxury papers up to 350 grams per square meter at 2,400 x 2,400 dpi resolution.

The new press produces customised printed boxes, food packaging solutions, calendars and personal diaries for RG Pack’s diverse industrial client base.

The company routinely delivers premium-quality packaging that strengthens brand identity for end-products using both offset and digital production machines.

The iPR V700, installed in February 2026, delivers oversized print outputs on media ranging from 52 to 350 grams per square meter, handling covers, envelopes, synthetics, coated substrates, luxury textured papers and long sheets up to 1,300 millimeters.

How Hyderabad Packaging House Scales from 52 to 350 gsm on a Single Production Press

Radhakrishna, proprietor of RG Pack, said that the company’s core philosophy is to go beyond mundane printing and packaging jobs by creating designs that protect, impress and strengthen brand identity.

He explained that the new iPR V700’s versatility with lightweight and heavyweight media had opened opportunities to work with newer applications in fresh textures.

Radhakrishna noted that papers of different grammages from 52 up to 350 grams per square meter are easily and efficiently handled by the press for producing graphic prints.

He added that the digital press has a unique capability to operate at high speed while handling heavy, textured and specialty media.

The company’s first Canon digital press was purchased approximately seven years ago, and the supportive after-sales service from Canon India has encouraged RG Pack to strengthen the partnership with more machines planned for the future.

What 70 ppm Speed and 2,400 dpi Mean for Bulk Custom Packaging Orders

The iPR V700 operates at a maximum speed of 70 A4-size pages per minute and includes a Fiery Server P400 controller for powerful processing of complex print jobs, plus a POD Deck for automated vacuum paper feeding.

The compact press measures 882 by 872 by 1,040 millimeters and weighs approximately 260 kilograms.

Radhakrishna noted that the new press is a production-grade machine rich with advanced features and automation tools not found readily in other digital presses in its class.

Established in 2004, RG Pack serves customers from diverse industrial clusters as a trusted manufacturer of bulk and small-scale rigid, corrugated and printed cardboard boxes.

The company’s finished products portfolio also includes calendars and personal diaries, demonstrating the press’s ability to handle varied substrates from lightweight to heavyweight.
