
SOUTH AFRICA – Rhodes Quality has introduced a new look for its 100% fruit juice range, combining modern design with the same high-quality product the brand is known for.
The updated juice packaging features a sleek, slim pack that enhances convenience and visual appeal, a change driven by extensive consumer feedback.
Maria Soares, Head of Marketing at RFG, explained, “Rhodes Quality has a rich heritage in fruit farming and a reputation for delivering high-quality 100% fruit juice. Our new packaging reflects consumer preferences while staying true to the brand’s commitment to excellence.”
The slim pack was chosen for its practicality, making it easier to hold and pour while reducing spillage. Its updated design also helps the product stand out on store shelves, giving it a fresh, modern appearance
Soares added, “While the packaging has evolved, the same great taste and quality of Rhodes Quality 100% juice remain unchanged. We are committed to offering our consumers the best experience, starting with packaging that fits their lifestyles.”

For instance, Tropicana recently introduced eco-friendly packaging that enhances shelf presence, showing how companies adapt to consumer demand and environmental concerns.
New Apricot and Peach Jam in cup format
In addition to the new juice packaging, Rhodes Quality has expanded its jam range, launching a 290g Apricot and Peach Jam in a convenient cup format with a resealable lid.
This new packaging format is designed to provide added convenience for consumers, helping to drive growth in the jam segment.
Soares noted that Rhodes Quality was the first to market with this format, which quickly became the second-largest pack size for jams.
“Ongoing innovation is a key driver of RFG’s sales and market share growth, and we aim to build on the strength of the Rhodes Quality brand as we expand into new flavour categories,” Soares said.
Rhodes Quality’s commitment to innovation mirrors developments by other major food brands, such as Heinz, which recently expanded its product range while introducing eco-friendly packaging solutions to meet evolving consumer demands.
