Rotocon expands Latin American footprint with new regional representatives

Manroland Latina offers an extensive service network and an in-depth understanding of local operating environments.

SOUTH AMERICA – Rotocon has strengthened its presence in the Americas through a new partnership appointing Manroland Latina as its exclusive representative for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

The agreement will see Manroland Latina supply Rotocon’s full portfolio of Ecoline and Chrome series flexographic printing presses, finishing machines and ancillary equipment to label and packaging converters across the region.

With decades of experience in the print and packaging sector, Manroland Latina offers an extensive service network and an in-depth understanding of local operating environments.

The company’s established infrastructure, including technical service teams, training capability and spare parts inventory, will support Rotocon’s expansion into markets where demand for high-quality, affordable label production technologies continues to accelerate.

Cesar Domínguez, managing director of Manroland Latina, described the partnership as a strategic milestone for the company.

“We chose to partner with Rotocon because their machines and solutions align perfectly with our customers’ growing demands for higher productivity, flexibility and finishing quality,” he said.

Hans Ramon Hofmann, head of the company’s Webfed Labels and Packaging Business Unit, highlighted Rotocon’s engineering value proposition.

“In my more than 30 years in the industry, I have come across a great deal of sophisticated and expensive equipment, but I am impressed by the level of quality and features Rotocon offers despite the comparatively low investment required,” he noted.

“This clearly reflects the extensive experience of the people behind the company.”

The partnership ensures that customers across the region will receive direct support for sales, installation, training and after-sales service.

Localized technical assistance is expected to significantly reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency for converters investing in European-engineered equipment without the barriers of cost or long lead times.

Rotocon’s Board of Directors welcomed the collaboration, saying Manroland Latina’s long-standing reputation in the print and packaging industry will help deliver “high-quality label printing and finishing equipment, backed by reliable local support.”

The South Africa-based manufacturer drew strong interest with a series of live demonstrations showcasing its advanced flexo printing and finishing technologies.

At the heart of Rotocon’s stand was the Chrome 450 flexo press, a centerpiece that impressed visitors with its combination of high-quality print output, modular design, and automation.
