EPS updates CommandCore to embed AI, automation in packaging plant workflows

USA – eProductivity Software has released CommandCore 2026.2, an update that embeds AI-driven estimation, predictive analytics and robotic palletising integration into packaging manufacturing workflows to address the loss of experienced operators and accelerate production decisions.

The platform update introduces pre-defined route templates in Radius Estimating, allowing senior estimators to encode best-practice routing logic that applies consistently across every estimate, reducing dependency on individual operator knowledge.  

Paxis ERP extends AI-powered dynamic translation across workflows for global teams, while the corrugated MES transitions to a modern browser-based experience with the new MES Hub and Trim Advisor Web, which analyses production history to recommend optimal roll widths and material combinations with confidence ratings and cost transparency. 

AI Predictors and Robotic Integration Cut Waste and Estimate Time

The 2026.2 release adds three AI tools within Radius ERP: Estimate Win Predictor scores conversion probability of incoming quotes, Customer Churn Predictor flags at-risk accounts, and Pack AI embeds a conversational assistant directly into workflows.  

AC4D Packing Station Advanced integrates with robotic palletiser systems, connecting quality control results and quarantine status with automated pallet assignment, triggering label printing without operator intervention upon pallet completion.  

PrintFlow 4D introduces Order Promising, allowing customer-facing teams to simulate prospective orders against live schedules and generate system-backed delivery commitments in seconds without disrupting confirmed production plans. 

Knowledge Capture and Metrics ERP Enhancements Support Industry Transition

Craig Tait, chief product officer at EPS, stated that packaging manufacturers face a real knowledge-transfer challenge as experienced estimators, planners and operators retire, and the update helps plants capture their expertise and make it repeatable across the business.

Metrics ERP expands with purpose-built Scrap Management capabilities for commercial scrap handling and deeper banking integration, enabling boleto issuance and remittance within the ERP.  

Trim Advisor Web and the new MES Hub reflect a broader push toward connected, browser-based tools that reduce training overhead and accelerate adoption, with the update now available to all CommandCore customers.  

The packaging-native platform unifies eight operational pillars including ERP, MES, control systems and smart scheduling on a single database, enabling manufacturers to start where operational pain is greatest and expand over time.
