A stake in Sohar Aluminium would secure off-take from a smelter that already sells approximately 60% of its output to local downstream customers.

Functional parts recovered will be sold through Stellantis’s aftersales network and digital platforms under the SUSTAINera recycling and remanufacturing business unit, which focuses on repair, reuse, recycling, and remanufacturing activities.

The expansion directly supports Tadweer’s recycling infrastructure by ensuring that collected waste is sorted at source and routed to appropriate processing facilities.

For Amcor, the divestment aligns with the packaging giant’s focus on its core packaging operations.
