AG aims to accelerate packaging development cycles and deliver customized, end-to-end solutions tailored to client needs.

INDIA – AG Poly Packs Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading packaging solution providers, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art R&D and Innovation Centre in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The launch marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey, coming shortly after the acquisition of Gujarat-based manufacturing facility AG Petuela Pvt. Ltd.
The new hub underscores AG’s focus on customer-centric innovation, speed-to-market, and advanced technology integration, areas increasingly critical in a packaging industry defined by shorter product lifecycles, SKU proliferation, and sustainability pressures.
“Innovation has always been at the heart of AG Poly Packs,” said Neeraj Maheshwari, Managing Director.
“The Ghaziabad R&D and Innovation Centre reflects our promise to customers — to listen, design, develop, and deliver packaging solutions tailored to their requirements. With advanced technology and a customer-first mindset, we aim to set new benchmarks for the industry.”
Traditionally, packaging development has involved multiple vendors for design, mould-making, prototyping, and testing, often resulting in delays and higher costs.
By consolidating all these functions under one roof, AG aims to cut development timelines by up to 50%, helping clients launch products faster while maintaining confidentiality.
The Centre integrates advanced design software, rapid prototyping tools, mould-making capabilities, and testing infrastructure to deliver fully customized solutions across industries.
Cutting-edge infrastructure
The facility is staffed by more than 50 skilled professionals and equipped with Vertical Machining Centres (VMC), CNC lathes, Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM), laser welding and engraving systems, and Vision Measuring Machines (VMM) for precision inspection.
These capabilities allow AG Poly Packs to design and manufacture moulds across a wide range of technologies, including Extrusion Blow Moulding (EBM), Injection Blow Moulding (IBM), Stretch Blow Moulding (SBM), Injection Moulding (IM), and Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM).
The integrated approach enables the company to deliver packaging that balances functionality, durability, and aesthetics.
Industry analysts note that as brands in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and household products race to differentiate on shelves, speed and innovation in packaging have become vital competitive advantages.
With its new R&D and Innovation Centre, AG Poly Packs joins a small but growing group of Indian packaging leaders investing in in-house innovation ecosystems to serve this demand.
Maheshwari concluded, “This Centre is not just about technology, it’s about reimagining packaging development to empower brands with agility, security, and innovation.”
