The platform connects with existing internal systems via API, automatically identifies data gaps, compliance risks and missing information across thousands of SKUs, and enables bulk generation and export of documentation simultaneously.

GERMANY – Recyda has launched its PPWR Navigator platform to automate the generation of Declarations of Conformity and Technical Documentation, enabling packaging companies to manage thousands of SKUs ahead of the EU’s upcoming compliance deadlines while future-proofing for Article 6 recyclability requirements.
The Freiburg-based software developer’s end-to-end solution, unveiled on 30 June 2026, addresses the critical challenge of preparing complex compliance documentation for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, which comes into force on 12 August 2026.
The platform enables companies to assess packaging portfolios for Substances of Concern under Article 5 and reusability under Article 11, while generating essential documentation at scale through bulk processing capabilities.
Automated Templates and Portfolio Analysis Slash Manual Compliance Work
The Navigator includes ready-to-use document templates developed in collaboration with industry initiatives and legal experts, allowing companies to customize Declarations of Conformity and Technical Documentation to fit their specific operational needs.
Recyda co-founder and managing director Christian Knobloch stated that the company’s mission has always been to lift the burden of manual compliance by empowering the packaging value chain with modern, auditable digital solutions.
Anna Zießow, co-founder and managing director, emphasized that compliance shouldn’t mean reinventing the wheel for every company, with close collaboration enabling the integration of templates that reflect true industry consensus and legal rigor.
From Fragmented Spreadsheets to Digital Compliance Command Centre
The platform connects with existing internal systems via API, automatically identifies data gaps, compliance risks and missing information across thousands of SKUs, and enables bulk generation and export of documentation simultaneously.
The Navigator integrates the incoming recyclability requirements of Article 6 as soon as the EU releases secondary legislation, while preparing businesses early with recyclability standards available today.
Jürgen Dornheim, executive industry advisor and former director at Procter & Gamble, said that Recyda is uniquely positioned to help the industry bridge the gap between current EPR realities and the strict PPWR requirements, providing the robust scalability that global brands require.
Vivian Loftin, co-founder and managing director at Recyda, concluded that the Navigator doesn’t just get companies past the immediate deadline but establishes a single source of truth to digitally manage global packaging compliance.
Recyda, founded in 2020, has supported packaging portfolios and R&D workflows of major global brands including Beiersdorf, Müller, Obi and Amcor.
