US – US-based specialized distributor and solution provider Envoy Solutions has acquired Pennsylvania Paper & Supply Company (Penn Paper).
The 100-year-old Penn Paper is a full-service, specialized distributor of facilities supplies, jan-san equipment and supplies, and industrial packaging solutions.
The deal further expands Envoy Solutions’ footprint in the Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey markets.
Envoy Solutions CEO Mark M. Fisher said: “We are excited to have Penn Paper join the Envoy Solutions family of companies.
“Douglas Fink, his family, and his team have built a great company that is focused on delivering exceptional client service and building a strong culture among its employees.
“Together, we’ll continue to grow and serve clients locally and throughout the U.S. market by solving their toughest challenges.”
Penn Paper was established in 1922 and is one of the first companies in the commonwealth to be continually run by a founder’s direct descendent.
The firm serves industry, healthcare, education, food processing, building management, hospitality, and government clients throughout eastern and central Pennsylvania, the southern tier of New York, and northwestern New Jersey.
Penn Paper third-generation president Douglas Fink added: “Throughout our history, we’ve always looked for new ways to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
“Coming together with Envoy Solutions will help us continue to do so. Joining Envoy Solutions, which I believe to have the best team and strategy the industry has to offer, is the perfect way to honor and continue my family’s century-long legacy of service to our community, our employees, and the marketplace.”
Last month, Envoy Solutions acquired US-based United Packaging, a distributor of packaging, shipping, safety, and janitorial supplies, for an undisclosed sum.
The deal is expected to help the firm to strengthen its position as a specialized distributor and solution provider in packaging, facility care, food service, and marketing execution.
United Packaging helps clients to manage their packaging operations as effectively as possible by managing inventory, streamlining packaging, better equipment, and decreasing safety issues.
In July, Envoy Solutions also acquired Sunbelt Packaging, which provides a diversified inventory of flexible packaging materials and a wide range of automated packaging equipment.
Sunbelt’s strong relationships with industry-leading customers have contributed to its continued growth across the country, with four distribution centers in South Carolina and Utah.
