The company will showcase its PCR bubble roll and expand the application of its fixed release liner technology.

USA – PAC Worldwide, a subsidiary of ProAmpac, will spotlight its latest sustainable packaging innovations at PACK EXPO 2025, scheduled for 29 September to 1 October in Las Vegas.
The company is set to introduce a post-consumer recycled (PCR) bubble roll and expand the application of its fixed release liner technology to its wicketed paper mailers.
The PCR bubble roll, pre-qualified for store drop-off recycling, contains 50% post-consumer recycled content without compromising the protective qualities of PAC’s standard line.
Available in clear and custom-branded colours, the roll features a 3/16-inch bubble height, catering to e-commerce businesses seeking both durability and sustainability in protective packaging.
In parallel, PAC is extending its fixed release liner technology, originally developed for its WicketPAC poly mailer, to its paper-based wicketed mailers.
Currently in beta testing with high-volume e-commerce users, the feature is reported to enhance packaging line throughput by 20% to 50% compared to standard mailers.
The liner eliminates the need to peel and discard paper strips, reducing worker strain and workplace waste while speeding up fulfilment operations.
“Customers are demanding packaging that not only performs better but also aligns with their sustainability goals,” said Thomas Parenteau, PAC e-commerce president.
“By introducing PCR-based solutions and expanding our fixed release liner technology, we are helping brands meet today’s efficiency requirements while also preparing them for evolving extended producer responsibility (EPR) regulations.”
PAC Worldwide employs around 1,300 people across facilities in the US, Mexico, and Malaysia. Its parent company, ProAmpac, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a global flexible packaging leader backed by Pritzker Private Capital along with management and co-investors.
The new launches reflect a broader packaging industry trend as e-commerce growth drives demand for packaging solutions that are both efficient and environmentally responsible.
According to Smithers, the global e-commerce packaging market is projected to surpass US$170 billion by 2027, with sustainability a key differentiator for brand owners.
At PACK EXPO, PAC Worldwide will position its offerings within this context, highlighting how PCR materials and productivity-enhancing designs can reduce waste across the supply chain.
By combining recyclability with operational efficiency, the company aims to support retailers and logistics providers in meeting consumer expectations while advancing towards a circular packaging economy.
