Pack Expo 2024: Sidel to showcase its cutting-edge technology for beverages and FHPC in PET

USA – Global packaging leader Sidel will showcase its cutting-edge technology for beverages and FHPC in PET, cans, glass, cartons, pouches, and other materials at the Pack Expo 2024 in November.

At the event, Jerome Tenaud, director of Equipment Sales Beverages for North America will share Sidel’s expertise in helping manufacturers to unlock sustainable aseptic production at the Innovation Stage, suite N-4560 in the North Hall from 4:00PM to 4:30PM.

Sidel will also highlight its cutting-edge Aseptic Combi Predis on the booth. An integrated blow-fill-cap solution for PET bottles, the Aseptic Combi Predis incorporates Sidel’s patented Predis dry preform sterilization.

This solution ensures continuous production time and efficiency by eliminating conveying, empty-bottle handling, accumulation, and storage.

At the show, Sidel will present its agile packing and palletizing equipment for primary packaging, including bottles, shaped containers, jars, tins, pots, cans, flexible packaging, and cartons, as well as secondary packaging: RSC, wrap-around, shelf-ready packaging, or film.

Visitors to the booth will witness the efficiency of the agile, compact palletizing unit RoboAccess_Pal S, introduced to the market last year, through live demonstrations.

Combining the best of robotics and cobotics, this high-performing, all-in-one solution delivers improved agility, operability, and compactness to FHPC markets.

Displayed in the booth, RoboAccess_Pal S is the perfect solution to replace manual operations. It delivers faster speeds of up to 12 cycles per minute and enables high case payloads of up to 25kg, while ensuring a fast return on investment, typically one to two years.

This offering provides a new level of compactness with a footprint of less than 12m² for two stations with a significant pallet height of 1700mm.

To support manufacturers with their evolving needs, in 2023 Sidel also released the new Cermex ProSelex, a flexible collating system for complex unstable bottles.

This gentle, streamlined, grouping device is designed to associate with any case packer and will deliver extreme efficiency, high availability, and greater operability.

With expertise in eco-friendly packaging alternatives from 100 percent recycled PET (rPET) and light-weighted primary packaging with tethered caps to optimized secondary and tertiary packaging alternatives, Sidel will show how it is ready to help customers meet the packaging market’s changing priorities.
