USA – Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP-North America), a business unit of Ardagh Group, has expanded its American-made bottles by launching a new series of craft beverage bottles.
These 12oz glass bottles are available in three colors: emerald green, flint, and amber.
Designed and produced domestically by AGP-North America from 100% recyclable glass, these bottles are claimed to be endlessly recyclable without any loss in purity or quality. The newly added series can be purchased directly from AGP-North America.
“Ardagh Glass Packaging continues to focus on developing its portfolio of American-made glass bottles to offer craft beverage producers increased flexibility for packaging their products,” said Rashmi Markan, vice-president of beer & beverage at AGP-North America.
“The new 12oz craft beverage series of bottles complement a wide variety of craft beverages, offering brand differentiation with a trusted, sustainable glass bottle that fully protects the beverage’s flavor.”
The introduction of these bottles comes when sustainability is a significant concern for consumers, who prefer products and packaging that reflect a sustainable lifestyle.
AGP claims to be one of the leading suppliers of infinitely recyclable glass packaging.
In the US, the company has been producing glass bottles and jars for more than 125 years, offering a broad selection of glass packaging in various colors, sizes, styles, and finishes.
Globally, AGP operates 38 production facilities across North America, Europe, and Africa, employs approximately 15,000 people, and has reported revenues of US$4.6 billion.
In March this year, AGP-North America announced a partnership with Stevens Point Brewery to supply glass beer bottles. This deal connects Stevens Point Brewery to AGP-North America’s glass manufacturing facility in Burlington, Wisconsin.
Stevens Point Brewery purchasing director Brian Elza commented on the partnership, “The Stevens Point Brewery distributes 1.7 million cases annually of Point Craft Beer, Ciderboys Hard Cider, Whole Hog Beer, and Point Gourmet Soda to over thirty states. Of that, half of the volume is in glass bottles.
“Sourcing glass closer to home is more efficient from an energy standpoint and supports our state economy. Put, this partnership aligns with our values.”
This collaboration is part of Stevens Point Brewery’s commitment to sourcing locally and integrating sustainable practices within its business operations.
