BOSTONtec introduces new packaging and shipping solutions, TransPak opens facility in Texas

USA – BOSTONtec, a manufacturer of ergonomic workstations, has launched a new line of packaging stations, shipping stations, and shipping workbenches.

These products are designed to adapt to tasks such as packing, labelling, sorting, and shipping.

One standout feature of BOSTONtec’s shipping workbenches is their adjustable height, enabling workers to alternate between sitting and standing positions.

BOSTONtec highlights the versatility of its products, which are suitable for industries ranging from e-commerce and manufacturing to electronics labs.

The modular and customizable options offered by the company’s workstations cater to the unique demands of shipping and fulfilment centres, streamlining packaging and dispatch tasks.

Nina Neuschuetz, BOSTONtec’s marketing manager, stated, “Our goal at BOSTONtec is to deliver workstations that enhance operational efficiency and improve the daily experiences of the people who use them.

“By prioritizing ergonomics and customization, we help clients gain a competitive edge while fostering a healthier, happier workforce.”

TransPak expands with new facility in Texas

TransPak has opened a new 300,000-square-foot facility in Manor, Texas, near Austin, to enhance its support for the semiconductor industry, a key sector in the region’s economy.

The expansion took three years to complete and is located just 15 minutes from downtown Austin.

The facility comprises two newly constructed buildings equipped with advanced features such as temperature-controlled environments, rigging capabilities, warehousing, packaging, and logistics services.

Additional amenities include employee cafeterias, locker rooms, and a mezzanine offering views of the operations.

The new facility is expected to create 75 to 100 new jobs in Manor, adding to TransPak’s current workforce of over 200 employees at the location.

Local officials have praised the economic benefits of this expansion. Scott Jones, the economic development director for Manor, described the facility as a significant investment in the community, noting its potential to provide job opportunities and drive economic growth.

A key feature of the Manor facility is its climate-controlled environment, designed to maintain stable temperature, humidity, and air quality.

These conditions are critical for storing and handling semiconductor equipment, which is highly sensitive to environmental fluctuations.

Mark Wordekemper, TransPak’s General Manager in Manor, expressed gratitude to the employees, contractors, and local partners who contributed to the project.

The company’s expansion aligns with the broader growth of the semiconductor industry in the Austin area, reinforcing its commitment to supporting this vital sector.
