GERMANY – Landa Digital Printing has announced the launch of the next generation of its market-leading B1 digital print technology, the Landa S11 and S11P Nanographic Printing Presses.

These new models offer extreme production versatility and an impressive print speed of 11,200 sheets per hour (SPH), significantly enhancing productivity and reducing job turnaround times.

The new Landa presses, commercially available at Drupa 2024, are not just about technology; they are about the future.

They incorporate artificial intelligence technology and introduce a new PrintAI module. This module is a game-changer, enhancing print quality and opening new profit-generating opportunities for businesses, making it ideal for demanding folding cartons and commercial print applications requiring micro text and other brand protection features.

Gil Oron, CEO of Landa Digital Printing, proudly commented, “We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Landa S11 and S11P. Building on the resounding success of our current S10 and S10P models and understanding the industry’s future needs, we are taking Nanography to the next level.

“The new Landa models enable printers and packaging converters to increase print quality and elevate productivity and profitability while reducing job turnaround times.

“With over 50 Landa presses now at the heart of businesses in 14 countries and more than 20% of our customers placing repeat orders, we’re entering a new era of print production.

“Nanography removes previous technology limitations, allowing print buyers to get beautiful prints with unlimited design potential produced economically and with market-leading turnaround times, all while keeping the environment in mind.”

The new Landa S11 and S11P models feature a new ink drying system that transfers dry ink from the blanket to the media at a higher speed of 11,200 SPH.

This high-speed capability is key for printers and converters looking to produce more jobs with shorter deadlines, enhancing productivity and economic benefits.

These new models can be customized to meet each customer’s specific requirements. Options include choosing four or seven colors, continuous printing capability, an optional in-line coating unit, and the opportunity to purchase the 11K Module to elevate productivity to 11,200 SPH and/or the PrintAI module.

Oron concluded, “The new Landa modules provide a significant premium to customers. While the S11 series builds on the robust and proven S10 platform, the capabilities launched today allow customers to expand their service offerings or enter profitable new markets.

“The B1 digital print revolution is underway, with Landa presses helping print houses and converters meet some of the industry’s biggest challenges and capitalize on its biggest opportunities.”
