Inovar Packaging Group expands product capabilities with Kiliper acquisition

USA – Inovar Packaging Group has strengthened its product portfolio and Midwest footprint through the acquisition of fellow US packaging specialist Kiliper for an undisclosed amount.

Kiliper, a second-generation family-run business, manufactures stretch sleeves, roll-fed labels, polybags and printed film products.

The company is recognized for its expertise in wide-web flexographic printing and converting, supplying customers across food and beverage, pet food, household chemicals, industrial supplies, and janitorial and sanitation markets.

The business will continue to be led by siblings Tom Kiliper and Lindsay Maysent, who remain in their roles as co-presidents following the transaction.

In a joint statement, Kiliper and Maysent said the partnership would allow the company to accelerate its development while maintaining its customer-focused culture.

“Kiliper has always been built on strong customer relationships, high-quality execution, and continuous investment in our capabilities. Partnering with Inovar allows us to continue to build on that foundation, broaden our offerings, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

For Inovar, the acquisition forms part of a broader growth strategy centred on expanding labelling technologies and complementary print platforms.

CEO Jeff Brezek said the company continues to prioritise strategic acquisitions that enhance technical capabilities and align culturally with its operations.

“Kiliper meaningfully expands our platform into stretch sleeves, roll-fed labels, and printed film applications, while complementing our existing manufacturing capabilities,” Brezek noted.

“Just as important, Kiliper brings a strong, values-driven culture centred on customer partnership, quality, and long-term relationships.”

The addition of stretch sleeves and roll-fed label capabilities diversifies Inovar’s offerings beyond pressure-sensitive formats, enabling it to serve a wider range of packaging applications and end markets.

The deal also deepens its presence in the Midwest, strengthening regional service and production capacity.

The Kiliper acquisition follows Inovar’s purchase last year of ModTek, a Pennsauken Township, New Jersey-based label producer specializing in pressure-sensitive and extended content labels for food, beverage and consumer goods markets.

As consolidation continues across the North American label and flexible packaging sector, Inovar’s acquisition strategy signals its intent to build a diversified, technology-enabled platform capable of supporting brand owners seeking integrated print and packaging solutions.
