EUROPE – PA Consulting and PulPac, the Swedish innovators behind Dry Molded Fiber packaging solutions, are pleased to announce Logoplaste’s participation in the Bottle Collective as the technology partner.
The Bottle Collective aims to unite major brands and leading packaging manufacturers to accelerate the journey towards truly sustainable single-use bottles. Logoplaste joins esteemed global companies Diageo, Haleon, and Sanofi in this endeavor.
The Bottle Collective endeavors to produce bottles with lower environmental footprints than typical single-use versions, while remaining cost-competitive and scalable for mass production.
Leveraging Dry Molded Fiber technology, which utilizes renewable pulp and cellulose resources, the Collective creates affordable, high-performance fiber-based bottles that can be recycled as paper packaging.
With Logoplaste’s expertise in injection molding and blowing, the company will actively contribute to improving the overall barrier performance of bottle lining technology, tailoring it to meet the specific needs of the consortium.
Jamie Stone, Partner at PA Consulting and PA’s PulPac Design and Innovation Lead, expressed excitement about the partnership, saying “We are thrilled to announce this partnership with Logoplaste. Together with our global brand partners, we can fast-track the development of the world’s first Dry Molded Fiber bottle.”
Logoplaste’s involvement in the Bottle Collective aligns with its mission to revolutionize the environmental impact of packaging.
With a longstanding commitment to sustainability embedded in its business model, Logoplaste has utilized its expertise in materials, design, and process efficiencies to ensure rigid packaging solutions deliver environmental and economic benefits.
Now, Logoplaste brings this expertise to the Bottle Collective, collaborating with PA, PulPac, and other members to expedite the commercial rollout and industrialization of Dry Molded Fiber Bottle technology.
Sanna Fager, Chief Commercial Officer at PulPac, emphasized the significance of collaboration, adding “Collaboration has been core to PulPac’s mission and growth since day one. We’re excited to welcome Logoplaste into the expanding ecosystem of innovative packaging companies.”
This collaboration is part of PA and PulPac’s mission to utilize Dry Molded Fiber to convert renewable plant fibers into a wide range of sustainable packaging and products.
Dry Molded Fiber offers a superior environmental footprint compared to single-use plastics, with comparable speed, scalability, and cost. As the global brand development partner for Dry Molded Fiber technology, PA works closely with renowned brands to develop tailored packaging and product solutions.
Through collective action in initiatives like the Bottle Collective, PA and PulPac aim to address global sustainability challenges and make a positive impact on the world.
