AMERICA – Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP-North America), a division of Ardagh Group, has expanded its popular Peak bottle collection by introducing two new 12oz glass bottles: the Emerald Peak in green and the Amber Peak in brown.

These additions join the existing Clear Peak bottle in flint glass, enhancing the range available on AGP-North America’s BuyOurBottles (BOB) platform.

The Peak collection is designed and manufactured in the U.S. and caters to craft brewers and beverage producers.

The twist-off bottles come in various colors, sizes, and finishes, offering versatility to meet diverse packaging needs.

Rashmi Markan, CCO of AGP-North America, highlighted the flexibility the collection provides, noting that it accommodates a variety of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, including beer, kombucha, iced coffee, soda, and juice.

“The Peak collection allows producers to run different beverages without adjusting their filling lines,” Markan said, emphasizing its practical benefits for breweries and co-packers.

Launched in 2012, the BOB platform was the first of its kind. It enabled craft brewers to purchase bottles directly from the manufacturer in pallet quantities.

Over the years, it has expanded to offer 13 different bottle options, reflecting the evolving needs of the craft beer and beverage market.

AGP-North America supports producers by ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality packaging materials at every growth stage.

AGP-Europe’s collaboration with Absolut

Meanwhile, Ardagh Glass Packaging-Europe (AGP-Europe) recently partnered with the Absolut Group to produce a limited-edition Absolut Warhol vodka bottle.

This design celebrates the iconic collaboration between Andy Warhol and Absolut Vodka, blending vintage inspiration with modern aesthetics.

The bottle’s design features a rediscovered ‘blue’ painting from 1985, brought to life through a screen-printing process using five distinct colors and glass-based enamel.

According to Julia Schilleras, AGP-Europe’s new product development manager, the bottle embodies an “extra everything” concept. The medallion showcases a tactile brushstroke texture, while Warhol’s signature and image add a distinctive artistic touch.

Produced and decorated at AGP’s Limmared, Sweden facility, the bottle’s shades of blue were carefully extracted from Warhol’s artwork and applied through screen printing, reflecting both innovation and attention to detail.

This collaboration highlights AGP-Europe’s commitment to blending art and packaging design, offering consumers a visually striking product that honors Warhol’s legacy.
