INDIA – Gayatrishakti Tissue, a prominent Indian producer, has successfully launched its first complete AHEAD tissue machine, supplied by Toscotec, at its Vapi facility in Gujarat.
This milestone marks the company’s strategic entry into the growing Indian tissue market. The company leverages cutting-edge technology to deliver high-quality tissue products.
The AHEAD tissue machine is a technological marvel. It boasts a sheet trim width of 2,850 mm, an operating speed of 1,800 m/min, and an impressive annual production capacity exceeding 35,000 tonnes.
Its advanced configuration includes Toscotec’s patented innovations, such as the TT NextPress, a shoe press designed for optimal drying efficiency, and the TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer, a third-generation model that enhances energy conservation.
The high-efficiency TT Hood further boosts drying capabilities, ensuring consistent product quality.
The comprehensive supply package also includes key stock preparation and fibre recovery systems, along with Toscotec’s TT SAF® DD (Short Approach Flow System with Double Dilution), which enhances energy efficiency.
The TT Brain DCS, an upgraded automation and control system, and two OPTIMA 2200 slitter rewinders complement the machine for precision finishing.
To ensure a seamless start-up, Toscotec provided a full suite of services, including erection supervision, commissioning, and operational training.
The YES-CONNECT-VISION Augmented Reality system further empowers remote assistance, enabling real-time problem-solving and operational guidance.
