With a capacity of 12,000–18,000 bottles per hour and scalability up to 100,000 bottles, the solution offers an accessible entry point for small to mid-sized bottlers.

THAILAND – Sidel has unveiled its innovation-driven Synergy portfolio, a new brand designed for fast-growing markets such as Southeast Asia, India, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, in the concluded ProPak Asias 2025.
The company launched an 8-cavity rotary blower, designed and built in India, targeting medium-speed bottling operations.
With a capacity of 12,000–18,000 bottles per hour and scalability up to 100,000 bottles, the solution offers an accessible entry point for small to mid-sized bottlers.
“The Synergy brand, although fully owned by Sidel, is purpose-built for emerging markets,” said Harbinder Kathuria, Vice President – Regional SKA, Asia, Oceania & Africa. “It’s about inclusive growth — helping bottlers start lean and grow with us.”
Sidel emphasized that 75% of a PET bottle’s cost comes from the plastic itself, highlighting the importance of “right-weighting” rather than merely lightweighting for true sustainability.
The company also showcased Actis, its proprietary carbon coating for PET bottles to extend shelf life, and EVO Fill, a high-efficiency filling system designed for carbonated beverages.
Mespack showcases complete turnkey packaging systems
Meanwhile, Spanish manufacturer Mespack impressed visitors with its fully integrated turnkey solutions for flexible packaging, spanning doypacks, sachets, stick packs, and pods.
“We simplify the packaging process by delivering complete systems, from pouch to pallet,” said Guillem Clofent, Managing Director, Mespack.
Headquartered in Barcelona with operations in India and the U.S., Mespack used the event to highlight Hello Mespack, a smart support system offering real-time video assistance, document sharing, and secure remote access for troubleshooting.
The company’s display also featured HFFS and VFFS machines, pod lines, and digital platforms like Mespack Athena, a hardware-agnostic interface enhancing machine intelligence.
Clofent emphasized Mespack’s ongoing push to adapt machines for mono-material films, reducing environmental impact.
The company is also developing AI-driven performance tools and preparing to launch a continuous motion sachet machine at Pack Expo, with speeds exceeding 150 sachets per minute.
With both firms doubling down on innovation, scalability, and regional presence, ProPak Asia 2025 affirmed their commitment to shaping the future of packaging in emerging economies.
“From affordability to advanced automation, we’re here to make a lasting impact,” concluded Clofent.
