Xerox spotlights next-generation presses at EMEA production print showcase

UK – Xerox has opened The Future of Xerox Production Print, a four-day event at its Innovation Centre in Uxbridge, bringing together commercial print providers, channel partners and industry leaders from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The event serves as a strategic platform to demonstrate Xerox’s expanding production ecosystem, with a focus on high-speed inkjet, AI-driven workflow automation and digital embellishment technologies.

Through live demonstrations, executive briefings and technology previews, the company aims to position production print as a core growth pillar amid shifting market dynamics.

“Print providers are at a defining moment where intelligence, automation and differentiation will separate leaders from followers,” said Terry Antinora, president of Global Production Print Services at Xerox.

“Production print is a strategic pillar for Xerox, and we are investing boldly in high-speed inkjet, AI-driven workflow and digital embellishment to help our clients enter a new era of print.”

New presses and platform expansion

Among the headline launches is the Xerox® Proficio™ PX300, a compact digital color press combining automation, Ultra HD image quality and an optional fifth color station to support higher-value applications.

The larger Xerox® Proficio™ PX500 targets higher-volume environments, offering advanced automation, enhanced media handling and expanded color gamut capabilities for premium print segments.

The event also marks the debut of the Xerox® IJP900 Inkjet Press, a mid-volume inkjet system designed to help providers expand into transactional and direct mail applications.

The press integrates workflow automation tools to streamline operations while delivering high-impact color output.

In the entry-production segment, the Xerox PrimeLink C9200 Series now features FOGRA-certified color when paired with the EX Fiery print server, expanded envelope handling and advanced finishing options aimed at improving job management efficiency.

On the software front, Xerox FreeFlow Vision Connect was showcased as a cloud-based production monitoring and analytics platform offering faster onboarding, predictive monitoring enhancements and new compatibility with the IJP900.

End-to-end ecosystem strategy

Collectively, the new presses and workflow solutions reflect Xerox’s strategy to deliver an integrated, end-to-end production environment.

By connecting hardware, AI-assisted workflows and analytics, the company aims to help print service providers reduce manual intervention, improve uptime and unlock new revenue streams across high-quality color, high-volume inkjet and embellished print applications.

The Uxbridge event underscores Xerox’s broader ambition to strengthen its position in the competitive production print landscape, where automation, data-driven insight and application diversification are increasingly central to sustained growth.
