AUSTRIA – ALPLA Group is paving the way for further growth in injection moulding by establishing the ALPLAinject division.
By strategically consolidating all injection moulding expertise and capacity under this brand, the plastic packaging specialist is enhancing efficiency, accelerating the market launch of new products, and unlocking new market segments.
ALPLAinject represents high-quality injection-moulded parts such as closures, caps, jars, and multi-part packaging components like pumps and deodorant sticks.
With this new division, ALPLA aligns all human and technical resources in one centralized organizational structure.
The division encompasses three core technologies—injection moulding, injection blow moulding, and compression moulding—as well as global toolmaking, development, and sales.
Standardized processes, centralized technology development, and shorter distances are expected to ensure greater flexibility and efficiency.
“With ALPLAinject, we are focusing on the specific requirements of the dynamic injection moulding market,” emphasizes Michael Feltes, the new managing director of ALPLAinject, who has been the Business Development Director in the injection moulding section of the Group since October 2022.
“We combine technological expertise and regional market knowledge, promote the global roll-out of innovative processes, and enable our customers to bring new products to market faster.”
The global headquarters of ALPLAinject are located at the ALPLA headquarters in Hard, and global teams are spread across all nine regions of the ALPLA Group.
ALPLAinject manufactures roughly 60 billion injection-moulded parts annually at 43 plants worldwide, utilizing more than 600 state-of-the-art machines and systems.
As a pioneer in packaging solutions and recycling, ALPLA leverages technological innovation, decades of experience in lightweight, alternative, and recyclable materials, and energy-saving production facilities.
“The injection moulding sector offers enormous potential and is one of our strategic growth drivers. The competitive market environment demands maximum cost-effectiveness and flexibility,” says ALPLA CEO Philipp Lehner, affirming that the new division reports directly to the CEO.
“As its injection moulding division, ALPLAinject will continue to ensure our competitiveness in the future.”

The company’s facilities serve regional and global clients spanning diverse sectors, including construction, chemicals, and food.
Preceding the acquisition, the two entities have collaborated since 2017, fabricating various products such as buckets, lids, crates, and tubs at locations in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic.
