Verify Inline removes the limitations of traditional systems that require operators to remain stationed at the press.

CANADA – GlobalVision has introduced Verify Inline, a cloud-native in-line inspection system that gives print and packaging professionals continuous visibility and control over press operations from any location worldwide.
The launch marks a significant move toward fully connected, automated pressrooms, as the company shifts conventional inspection from hardware-dependent setups to a flexible, cloud-first ecosystem.
By relocating press inspection to the cloud, Verify Inline removes the limitations of traditional systems that require operators to remain stationed at the press.
The result is reduced press-side monitoring and improved workflow efficiency, enabling operators to redirect their time to higher-value tasks.
“With Verify Inline, we’re bringing the entire pressroom into the cloud, unlocking new levels of flexibility and control for our customers,” said Michael Malz, chief product officer at GlobalVision.
“For the first time, production teams can monitor print quality wherever they are, ensuring quality is under control and the press is running fast. This means less time chained to the press-side, and greater control than ever before.”
Verify Inline continuously compares labels on the press against an approved PDF, detecting critical errors with high accuracy.
Its scanner-based setup, combined with AI-powered verification, delivers distortion-free images, near-zero false positives, and reliable performance, distinguishing it from traditional camera-dependent systems known for distortion.
Key features include global, cloud-enabled oversight, easy scalability across multiple presses or plants, and all-in-one inspections covering registration, text, graphics, barcodes, QR codes, and color checks in a single automated workflow.
Real-time inspection reduces downtime and eliminates the need for manual checks, while early error detection supports sustainability objectives by reducing remakes, ink consumption, and substrate waste.
GlobalVision’s entry into cloud-native in-line inspection reflects a broader industry trend toward connected and autonomous print environments.
Earlier this year, Esko expanded its AVT Helios platform with remote monitoring capabilities, enabling label converters to view live inspection data from mobile devices.
Similarly, BST GmbH enhanced its TubeScan digital strobe system with cloud-linked analytics to help converters track defect trends and reduce waste.
In flexible packaging, Domino Printing Sciences introduced cloud-enabled vision tools within its K600i platform, allowing operators to oversee variable data integrity across multiple sites.
With Verify Inline, GlobalVision strengthens competition in a rapidly evolving quality-control landscape, where cloud connectivity, AI-driven detection, and sustainability-centric efficiency are becoming industry standards.
The system’s bundled hardware and easy cloud deployment are expected to speed adoption among converters seeking smarter, more agile production environments.
