IPG expands product line with advanced plastic sheeting for surface protection

USA – Intertape Polymer Group (IPG), a leading provider of packaging and protective solutions, has introduced a new Plastic Sheeting product line, designed to enhance surface protection across multiple industries.

The newly launched sheeting features high-performance films with exceptional tear resistance and easy workability. It is transparent and clings securely to surfaces, helping to maintain cleanliness and shield against contaminants.

According to IPG, the sheeting is particularly beneficial during repairs and renovations, preventing overspray and other debris from affecting work areas.

Targeting a diverse customer base, the plastic sheeting is ideal for automotive collision centres, industrial paint contractors, DIY home renovators, and professionals in the transportation and marine sectors.

Customers can select from a variety of sizes to meet their specific project requirements.

Rachel Johnson, IPG’s Industrial Associate Product Manager, emphasized the product’s value, stating, “We are excited to introduce this high-performance plastic sheeting to our customers, further expanding our offerings in the automotive aftermarket.

“This product provides a cost-effective solution for protecting valuable surfaces while delivering exceptional performance.”

Based in Florida, IPG serves a global market with innovative protective solutions. In May 2024, the company strengthened its digital presence by launching a second virtual showroom, which aims to enhance customer engagement in the packaging industry.

The showroom offers a 3D interactive experience, allowing users to explore IPG’s packaging machinery in detail.

With a 360-degree view of advanced equipment, customers can assess features and functionality from any device

Augmented reality further enhances this experience, enabling businesses to visualize how IPG’s solutions integrate into their own workspaces.

Beyond product exploration, the virtual showroom also functions as an extensive training platform, featuring interactive simulations and demonstrations.

This initiative is designed to minimize downtime by equipping users with in-depth operational knowledge before implementing the technology.

Jason Fisher, IPG’s VP of Marketing and Client Services, highlighted the company’s commitment to accessibility, stating, “Whether you’re across the street or across the globe, our virtual showroom ensures that access to cutting-edge packaging solutions is just a click away. It’s a game-changer in customer engagement and satisfaction.”

With the expansion of its plastic sheeting line and continued investment in digital engagement, IPG reaffirms its dedication to innovation, efficiency, and customer-centric solutions.
